I think, Govt. should pass a rule, that a personal vehicle should be driven with minimum 50% occupancy,
I mean, if a person rides a four wheeler for any purpose from 1 location to another then there must be atleast 2 person in his/her vehicle,
Suppose, if it's 4 wheeler, so it can carry 4 person, & it's 50% = 2 person, & if he found not driving with minimum persons, than he should be fined with maximum amount like Rs.10/- or 20/- (eg. Indian Currency) & that amount should be use for promoting use of public convenience, which i think, helps in reduction of pollution, traffic jams, saves time, etc.
Suppose 1000 (4 wheelers) are on same road but after its implementation, only 500 vehicle will be there on that Road,
just Imagine, how much Pollution, Traffic Jams, & Time, it'll Save😊
& for 2 wheelers also, there won't be any issue, since atleast 1 person is required to drive it, which fulfils 50% occupancy criteria,
& if Same Vehicle is Fined 15 times in a month, than he/she should be fined extra rs.1000/-, for that Month,
The fine amount I choose is Rs.10/- or 20/-, such less amount, since it helps in preventing Corruption also, if we put Large amount, than everybody will make settlement (by giving some amount) with/to the officer,
But if a person count such minimum amount of fine for a month, than he would have paid rs.300/- per month,
& if we count that in a month, suppose 1000 person pays such fine in any City, than govt. will get Rs.3,00,000/- (3Lakh), which can be utilized for improving Public Convenience, by providing low fares to public or providing better services, who's travelling in public transport,
& if at any time, person need to travel alone, at that time he no need to worry about fine also, since it's very low,

So it doesn't matter, whether Govt. apllies such rule or not but some1 may start doing vehicle pooling, which helps in contributing towards lesser Traffic Jams, Reducing Pollution Level & Saving his travel time, as I personally try most of the time, doing the same

As U have suggested,low charge to be fined as 10/20/30 rs. Do u think it would work, ppl won't think about the rule and when they r caught...its easy to give 10 rs whixh they won't care.
ReplyDeleteYes, that's what's my Idea is about, they'll pay more fine on daily basis & govt. will receive more funds to improve public transportation, which also helps in overcoming above issues,
